Dear parent

We all believe in your child’s French potential.

But beyond school hours, where do they get the speaking practice they need to become spontaneous and confident in French conversation?

Like any skill, French-speaking confidence comes with French-speaking practice.

Yet, classroom settings offer limited 1:1 speaking time, opportunities to practice French outside of school in BC are scarce, and you might not feel comfortable enough in French yourself to guide them.

Plus, you are already investing time, effort, and mental energy—helping with homework, shuttling between activities, and managing a loaded schedule. The last thing you need is more driving or more tasks on your shoulders.

You don't need another task—you need a partner.

A partner that offers your child:

1:1 Real-life conversation

Focused, fully educator-led sessions tailored to your child’s French level, pace, and interests.

Natural setting

Playful and cultural activities with a warmhearted francophone that make French feel lived, not assigned.

More practice, not more studying

Space to use French to build stronger speaking skills and confidence—not an extra homework.

Multiple ways to practice. Different styles, different outcomes.

Not all French practice is created equal.

SURFACE-LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT

Gamified Apps (e.g. Duolingo)

Screen taps and badges reward gaming... Kids get entertainment, but actual speaking practice is left out. Genuine human connection—the core reason we learn language—simply can't be found in an app.

NATURAL ENGLISH PULL

Group After-School Programs

One educator and informal activities outside the classroom... The switch to English happens naturally. Just like adults, kids connect with peers the easiest way possible—and that is rarely in a second language.

NEUROLINGUISTIC AND FRENCH PHONETICS PRECISION

French To Go

One child, one Francophone educator, and the comfort of home. A safe space to speak, try, and refine skills without self-consciousness—building genuine fluency through real conversation, the mother-tongue way.

Why the approach feels different

A second language taught the mother-tongue way

First: Listen & Speak

With supportive visuals

Just like learning a first language, kids hear sentences in context with visual cues, then try saying them naturally and receive instant guidance and feedback—no translation needed.

Second: Read

Once you know the meaning

Reading comprehension comes once the meaning is understood orally. Children connect written words to sounds whose meanings they already know.

Third: Write

With supportive models

Just like with speaking, students first follow a model they can rely on. For writing, they read what we write for them and then adapt it into their own personal version.

Through Play & Connection

So that they engage genuinely

Language exists for genuine human interaction. Games are our medium, making learning feel natural and purpose-driven.

Personalized Content

100% authentic and tailored to them

Session goals are defined beforehand, but students choose the games, topics, and cultural discoveries that spark the conversations. Every session stays relevant, engaging, and adapted to their level.

A RECOGNITION OF YOUR DAY TO DAY

We see the complicated matrix you're holding.

We know it: life simply happens. Schedules shift, kids get sick, the short-notice field trip announcements... And between pre-packing activity bags, coordinating carpools down to the minute, and setting a 9:00 AM reminder just to secure program spots, your calendar is already at capacity. The last thing you need is another "use-it-or-lose-it" commitment added to your daily juggle.

To partner with you for your child's French success in the long run, without causing added stress, we aren’t a rigid prepaid plan. We are built to fit into your routine and adapt to your life—not the other way around.

40-minute session total cost is $50.

Plan ahead with a $10 deposit. Pay the remaining $40 only for sessions actually attended.

THE BOOKING MODEL

Flexible by design.

  • Plan ahead: Secure your preferred time slots with a $10 deposit per session booked.

  • Complimentary rescheduling: Move sessions whenever life happens without losing your deposit.

  • Pay as you go: At the end of each month, your card is automatically charged the remaining balance ($40/session) only for the sessions actually attended that month—no extra invoices to manage on your to-do list.

♡ A gift for you

We believe you’ll love that.

Every 3rd session, you’ll receive a digital "Airmail"—that turns the language gap between you and your child into a genuine reason to connect with their French journey. Prepared by your child for you, it lands directly in your inbox and is interactive: you can like it and leave comments!

Your Airmail includes:

  • a bilingual text about the conversational theme covered in the unit completed

  • a real-life cultural fact they discovered about a French-speaking country

  • a short French lesson featuring the vocabulary and grammar they naturally integrated

  • a highlight of what they now feel more confident with when speaking French

On the drive home from swimming lessons, or at dinner time, you be equipped to say: "I got your Airmail! Can you tell me more about what you discovered about Madagascar and about the difference between 'est' and 'et' that you explained to me?"

Honest Guidance

Who it’s for — and who may need something else.

This is for your child if…

  • Early & Late French Immersion students who would benefit from speaking practice to get ahead in the program and deeply anchor French as a lifelong asset for their future.
  • Core French / English-track students with a French foundation who want to speak more naturally, keep their French Immersion skills from fading, and continue developing their second voice instead.

This may not be the right fit if…

  • Strict homework-only tutoring: Our core program focuses on natural conversation and language enrichment. Homework support is available exclusively to enrolled families.
  • Specialized IEP / Clinical support: While our sessions are grounded in second language acquisition and phonetics pedagogy, we do not provide formal specialized learning accommodations or IEP support plans.

Too soon, childhood will pass and they’ll be grown up.

You taught them their first language naturally.

Now, they are learning French at school because you believe in the benefits of second language learning and the competitive edge French skills offer in Canada—provided your child feels confident enough to speak up when real-life conversations arise, rather than understanding French but replying in English.

Why miss this critical window—when skills and confidence take root most naturally—to give them the practice they need to find their French voice by speaking it out loud with confidence?

Let's assess your child's conversational confidence and see if we're the right fit for them.
